The Library of Congress has named Jason Reynolds as the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature!  I know I’m not the only hard-core Jason Reynolds fan to be excited about this!  His theme?  Grab the Mic:  Tell Your Story.  He is going to work to empower young people to tell their own stories, and he’s planning to collaborate with StoryCorps to collect and record interviews with young people from across the country.  He plans to visit a lot of small towns!  I’m going to try to find out more about how this part of the project works, and I’ll let you know what I find out.
