  • Update: Automated Telephone Notice and Renewal System Still Down

MORE's automated telephone notice system (sometimes called TNS or Teleforms) and the telephone renewal service are not working as of sometime Thursday (7-4). Unfortunately, I don't know when it will be working again, but the problem (a failed harddrive) is actively being addressed. To avoid a delay in sending notices, please use the second option listed in my email to MORE-member library staff on Friday (7-5). Please submit a help desk ticket with questions or problems. -Lori

We're meeting a little early this year, but look for the same stellar content and chance to connect with colleagues from around the system about youth services issues, including the Summer Library Program.  In the morning, we'll hear from Sue Abrahamson (Waupaca Public Library) and Emily Zorea (Ithaca Public Schools) about transitioning your programming to include all kinds of learning opportunities for kids and families.  We'll have some time for breakout discussions about topics of interest to you.  And then in the afternoon, Linda Jerome will join us to talk about teen services:  teen advisory boards, outreach and publicity, collection development, and a run-down of cool programs.

9:00-3:30 at the Fanetti Community Center, 620 17th Street Southeast, Menomonie.

Register by September 19.
