Low-Income Subsidies for Internet Access (from DPI)

The DPI and public library systems have been discussing a federal program that can provide $50/month to low-income households to defray or cover the cost of internet access.

DPI is highlighting the program, and encourages libraries and other colleagues in the workforce development community to share this information.  https://www.fcc.gov/emergency-broadband-benefit-program

Eau Claire Delivery Changes

Eau Claire library is preparing to move to their temporary location. Here are the delivery dates around that move:
April 2 – last day for Drop Off at the Eau Claire St. location.
April 5-9 – Pick Up Only at Eau Claire St. location.
No delivery to Eau Claire library on April 12-13.
April 14 – restart delivery at new Mall Dr location.
Please hold any materials in transit to Eau Claire from April 2-April 13 to lessen the number of materials at the Waltco terminal. If you could do a pre-sort bin for EC for that time, it will help with sorting as of April 14 as well. Contact Maureen with any questions.
