Questions to consider for the Handling Difficult Conversations Like a Champion webinar

  1. What defines a good conversation for me?
  2. How do I want to feel during conversations?
  3. What are my ultimate goals for communicating with this person or group?
  4. What negative outcome do I believe will happen? (e.g., “I’ll be rejected,” “I’ll hurt them,” “I’ll be seen as weak”)
  5. What positive outcome could come from this conversation?

Answer the following questions with Yes or No.

  • Am I truly listening, or just waiting to speak?
  • Do I ask clarifying questions?
  • Do I reflect back what I hear?
