Finding Presenters and Performers
- Wisconsin Arts Board Folk & Traditional Arts Coordinator Kaitlyn Berle is available to assist you with finding Wisconsin artists to present for youth or adults: kaitlyn.berle @ wisconsin.gov.
- SELCO (southeast MN) short list of vetted program presenters.
- Directory of Minnesota Authors and Illustrators of books for children and young adults who present programs in libraries, schools, and other venues.
- You can see an excel sheet with presenters/performers that have been reviewed by your colleagues in IFLS-land: Crowd-Sourced Presenter List.xlsx Please fill out this form to add information about presenters/performers you have had in the past few years. The more people who participate, the better!
- Please contact Leah if you need help tracking down performers or presenters not on these lists.
Sharing Performers
It’s a great idea to share performers–saves on travel costs and often performers give a special break if they can have several gigs in one or two days. If you want to suggest sharing a performer to all youth services librarians in the system, send a note to the youth services list. You can use other IFLS email lists, as well (plstaff, pldirectors, adultservices).
