Keeping Up With Kids

I got an email from the Children’s Book Council today that you might want to consider:

The Children’s Book Council and Every Child a Reader are offering a new “Keep Bans Off Our Books” kit for librarians, teachers, and booksellers in support of the right to free speech and against censorship and book bans.  You can sign up to receive multiple versions of the #FREADOM coloring pages (for you to photocopy), as well as a sheet of our original “Keep Bans Off Our Books” stickers.

The CBC and Every Child a Reader are working with many groups in the fight against book bans: PEN, NCAC, Banned Books Week, EveryLibrary, the ABA, the ALA, and others. We are proud to support these organizations and the many publishers investing in resources to fight book bans in the courts and elsewhere.

We thank all of you who are in this fight in your communities. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]
