Keeping Up With Kids

Cole Zrostlik wrote recently with the happy news that the St. Croix Falls Public Library has received another national grant!  YALSA and Dollar General sponsor a grant to help libraries hire teen interns to help with the Summer Library Program–both to help libraries provide programming they might not be otherwise able to provide, and to help teens gain valuable work skills.  St. Croix Falls was one of only 20 libraries nation-wide to win the grant!

I can see why they won, when I look at the information on their website about the program.  It looks like they are going to support their interns and help them do creative endeavors that will tap into their own special interests and abilities.  Way to go!
