Keeping Up With Kids

I know for a fact that you are all busy as can be right now, providing great service to the kids in your community.  From what I hear, libraries are FULL to bursting, and many of you are heading outside the library and doing some terrific outreach, too.  Thanks for all that!

In the meantime, the folks at Storytime Underground have come up with a great new tool for you–Storytime University!  If you are looking for a way to help organize your own training in making your storytimes and service to young people, families and caregivers better and more intentional, please check it out.  There are suggestions of things to do, and you can earn badges for doing them.  Best of all, there is a community of practice, a group of other people exploring and learning and improving their skills.  (NOTE:  THIS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

I’d love to hear what you think of it when you get started!
