Able Young Readers, Healthy Growing Bodies:  Connecting Early Literacy to Health–a free webinar from Early Childhood Explorations, April 20 from 1-2:30 (Central Time).   The presenter, Vera Meyerholtz, will be discussing the links between health and literacy outcomes.  


A Moving Child Is a Learning Child:  How Movement Prepares the Brain to Think (and a whole lot more), May 18, 1-2:30 (Central Time) with Gill Connell and Cheryl McCarthy.  They will discuss ways to practically integrate movement into early childhood activities.

Both of these webinars seem relevant to youth services librarians, especially in light of the theme for this year’s Summer Library Program!
